Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Prep Cook and play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting with food assembly, and ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our customers. Duties Prepare fresh ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and standards Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas Support the kitchen team during meal service by ensuring timely food prep and delivery Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including proper storage and handling of ingredients Maintain organized workstations to promote efficiency and safety throughout the kitchen Skills Prior experience with food preparation, cooking, and food handling within fast paced restaurant Knowledge of kitchen equipment usage, knife skills, and meal preparation techniques Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food storage procedures Ability to work independently and accurately under pressure while maintaining high quality standards Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Passion for culinary arts, catering, serving, and creating delightful meals for diverse audiences
