Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Grill Cook / Prep Cook Manager to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. This role combines hands-on food preparation, grilling, and overseeing prep operations to ensure high-quality meals are consistently served. As a key player in our culinary team, you will manage daily kitchen activities, uphold food safety standards, and inspire a collaborative environment focused on excellence and efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food preparation and cooking meet quality standards and safety regulations Lead the grill station, preparing and cooking menu items with precision, speed, and consistency Manage prep work for the kitchen, including ingredient portioning, food handling, and inventory control Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper knife skills, food safety practices, and culinary techniques Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health department guidelines Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste and maximize freshness and carryout and deli experience a must Experience Proven experience in restaurant kitchens, particularly in grill or prep stations Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry Demonstrated knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Experience with fine dining environments or catering services is highly desirable Skilled in knife techniques, meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a culinary setting preferred Familiarity with menu planning, food service operations, and catering logistics Join us to bring your culinary expertise to life in a vibrant environment where your skills will shine! $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
