WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A PREP COOK

Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service Experience as a prep cook desired, preferably in a high-volume restaurant Ability to read and prep recipes to measurements and standards Available to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A PREP COOK

Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables, meat and fish Use a commercial food slicer to slice various meats, cheese, and vegetables Use a commercial food processor to prep foods Operate both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges Lift, handle, weigh, and portion food items using a commercial portion control scale Label, date, and store prepped product Clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors
