Essential Job Functions Follow kitchen manual for recipes and preparation methods; prepare cold food items with proper taste and presentation. Use kitchen equipment safely and correctly; perform all duties with safety as a priority. Minimize food waste and ensure efficient food production for maximum productivity. Practice sanitation standards, stock rotation, and maintain cleanliness of refrigerators and work areas. Label, date, store, and rotate products; maintain proper stock levels and avoid overproduction. Attend pre-shift meetings, prepare food as needed (including cutting/trimming meats), and notify manager of requisition needs in advance. Full-time hours available (at least 30 hours per week). Must have open availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience/Education 1-2 years' experience as a Prep Cook (Cook III) or a Cook II, preferably in an outlet of similar size and nature. High School Diploma or Equivalent. College degree preferred.
