Job Description

About Us:
Tavern In The Bluffs is a upcoming soon to be open local sports bar. We're looking for dependable Line Cooks to join our growing kitchen team!
Position Overview:
As a Line Cook, you'll work closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to prepare and execute menu items with consistency, speed, and care. From prepping ingredients to plating our signature dishes, you'll help keep the kitchen running smoothly while upholding our high standards.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to Backwaters' recipes and standards Assist with daily prep, including chopping, portioning, and stocking Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and shared kitchen areas Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Communicate clearly with teammates and management to ensure smooth service Support a positive, team-first work environment
Qualifications:
Previous line cook or kitchen prep experience required Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Solid teamwork and communication skills Dependable, punctual, and professional Basic knowledge of food safety and cooking techniques Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
