Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence Assist in menu planning by offering input on dish execution and ingredient selection Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols Support food handling procedures during service, ensuring all items are served fresh and at proper temperatures Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless food service during busy hours, supporting catering events when needed Follow all kitchen safety guidelines, including knife skills best practices and proper equipment use Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry best practices to enhance dish quality Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety Exceptional teamwork skills with the ability to serve guests professionally while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
