Line Cook/Prep Cook

Fumao Table is looking for an experienced Planchero / Prep Cook to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is dependable, hardworking, and passionate about preparing quality Cuban food in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients and complete daily food prep Cook sandwiches, breakfast items, and other menu offerings on the plancha (griddle) Maintain food quality and presentation standards Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked Assist with receiving and storing deliveries Work efficiently during busy service periods

Requirements:

Previous culinary or restaurant kitchen experience (preferred) Experience working a flat-top grill/plancha preferred Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation and strong attendance Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

Spanish-speaking is a plus Experience with Cuban cuisine is a plus Experience in food prep, line cooking, or short-order cooking
