In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Whether you're grilling on the Hibachi or preparing ingredients behind the scenes, your skills will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your culinary expertise in a fast-paced, vibrant environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, including Hibachi-style dishes when applicable Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure efficiency during service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Support menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability for daily specials and seasonal offerings Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure quality Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt and courteous food service to guests Assist with catering orders and special events as needed, ensuring timely and accurate meal preparation Skills Proven experience in a restaurant kitchen or food industry setting, with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques Strong knife skills for efficient ingredient prep and precise cuts Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Experience with menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with catering services and serving protocols is a plus Join us in creating memorable dining experiences through your culinary talents!
