Line Cook Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. We are searching for a Line Cook for the Culinary department at our Ave Maria campus. The Line Cook is primarily responsible for assisting the chef in preparation of all cooking and culinary functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Hands on preparation of high volume, high quality cuisine.

Applicant needs to have:

above average knife skills, appreciation and knowledge of quality ingredients, able to accomplish assigned tasks with little or no direct supervision, basic knowledge of soups, sauces, butchering and baking, as well as the ability to do above tasks in a clean, organized, efficient, and sanitary manner.

Education and Experience:

3 years Commercial Kitchen experience required. High school diploma required. Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or

Training:

Culinary certification preferred Serve-safe certification preferred Machine, Tools, and/or

Equipment Skills:

Applicant must possess the ability to operate all kitchen equipment with little supervision.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
