We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Position Summary The Cook III position is responsible for assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality food for members and guests of the club. This role supports daily kitchen operations by maintaining food quality standards, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and working collaboratively with the culinary team in a fast-paced private club environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to club recipes, specifications, and presentation standards Assist with banquet, tournament, and a la carte food production Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in compliance with health department regulations Properly store, label, and rotate food products to maintain freshness and quality Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies and ingredients Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, marinating, and organizing ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, workstations, coolers, and storage areas Support senior culinary staff during high-volume service periods Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries Communicate effectively with chefs, kitchen staff, and front-of-house team members Follow all club policies and procedures regarding safety, appearance, and professionalism Qualifications Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred Experience in a private club, restaurant, resort, or hospitality environment is a plus Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work in hot, humid, and fast-paced kitchen conditions Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements required Work Environment This position operates in a professional private club kitchen environment focused on delivering exceptional culinary experiences and member service.
