Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in menu planning, including daily specials and catering options. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs or preferences. Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and equipment use. Support the overall operation of the kitchen by assisting with meal preparation and service as required. Qualifications Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and dietary requirements. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
