Line Cook/Prep Cook EatDaBoneBBQ Delray Beach, FL Job Details Part-time $20 - $25 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Food production Food handling Food hygiene Cooking Meal preparation Restaurant experience Full Job Description Food Truck Cook / Kitchen Team Member Job Responsibilities Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning and occasional recipe development Take customer orders, cook, and serve food efficiently during service Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner during high-volume periods Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace within the food truck and prep areas Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth daily operations Accommodate dietary restrictions and special customer requests when possible Accept and apply constructive feedback to improve performance and consistency Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of cooking experience in a kitchen, food truck, catering, or food service environment Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Familiarity with menu planning and recipe execution Proficient with kitchen tools and equipment, including knives Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Reliable, punctual, and dependable Additional Requirements Reliable transportation required Willingness to travel to different locations and cities as needed Flexible availability, including events, weekends, and evenings Comfortable working in a food truck / pop-up / catering environment Bonus Opportunities Additional earning opportunities available through catering and Caterwork events outside of regular food truck service Events Held in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach.
