Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Help with catering events as needed, ensuring quality presentation and taste of all dishes. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to cleanliness protocols. Experience Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred, especially in fine dining settings. Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus. Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques are essential. Understanding of food safety practices and regulations is required. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
