Mediterranean Kitchen Cook - Fast Casual We are seeking an experienced Mediterranean Cook to join our team for a brand-new fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant. We are building a strong kitchen team focused on fresh food, fast service, consistency, and quality from day one. Experience in Mediterranean cuisine is required. This is an opportunity to grow with a new restaurant in a high-energy environment where teamwork, cleanliness, and strong work ethic matter. We are looking for someone who can move fast, stay organized, and help build a successful kitchen operation from the ground up. Responsibilities Prepare and cook Mediterranean menu items including shawarma, grilled meats, rice, wraps, pitas, salads, sauces, and sides. Follow recipes and portion standards to maintain consistency and food quality. Assist with daily prep including cutting vegetables, marinating meats, preparing sauces, and stocking stations. Operate grills, prep stations, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and prep areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures. Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and fast service during busy hours. Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties. Qualifications MUST have previous experience working in a Mediterranean restaurant or Mediterranean kitchen. Experience with shawarma, kebabs, rice preparation, grilling, hummus, garlic sauce, and Mediterranean food preparation is required. Strong knife skills and kitchen experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Reliable, hardworking, punctual, and team-oriented. Open availability is a plus.
