Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, menus, and quality standards Assist with menu planning to ensure variety and nutritional balance Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices Support food preparation activities, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy periods Contribute to catering events and special meal requests with professionalism and efficiency Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly desirable Strong culinary skills with proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is a plus Restaurant or kitchen experience within the food industry demonstrates valuable expertise Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork and communication skills to support a positive kitchen environment This part-time position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their culinary talents while contributing to a vibrant team.
