The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong background in the food industry, particularly in pizza making. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored Assist in menu planning and recipe development for new pizza offerings Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Follow food safety guidelines and health regulations at all times Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens and mixers Provide exceptional service by ensuring that pizzas meet quality standards before serving Requirements Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred Strong culinary experience with a focus on pizza making is essential Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations Excellent knife skills and experience with meal preparation Background in catering or restaurant service is advantageous Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality Join our team to create delicious pizzas that delight our customers while working in an engaging culinary atmosphere!
