Well known Mom and Pop restaurant is looking for a lead dinner cook. Should be proficient in scratch sauces, Alfredo, Marsala, Piccata and other Italian staples. Should be good with meat temperatures and plating. Knowledge of correct meat temps and have experience with daily prep. A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn are important. We serve comfort food with a focus on Italian cuisine. You will be working in a modern kitchen with a friendly staff. Dinner shift is 6 nights a week, Monday thru Saturday from 2pm to 9 pm, with Sundays off (unless you want to cover some breakfast shifts on Sundays, if needed, so Breakfast experience a plus and will enable additional shifts/hours.) We strive to create a low pressure, pleasant work environment.
