Pizza Preparation:

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and quality standards. Stretch, toss, and shape dough to form pizza bases of consistent size and thickness. Assemble pizzas with the appropriate balance of ingredients, considering customer preferences and dietary restrictions.

Cooking and Baking:

Operate pizza ovens, ensuring proper temperature levels and cooking times to achieve optimal flavor and texture. Monitor pizzas while baking, rotating and adjusting as needed to achieve even cooking. Ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection, with a golden-brown crust and melted, bubbly cheese.

Quality Control:

Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality, discarding any items that do not meet the standards. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Customization and Special Requests:

Accommodate special orders and customizations, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to fulfill customer requests.

Collaboration:

Work closely with fellow cooks, kitchen staff, and servers to ensure efficient and smooth operations. Communicate effectively to manage orders and maintain a steady flow of pizza production during peak hours.

Menu Knowledge:

Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including pizza varieties, toppings, and optional add-ons. Assist customers with menu recommendations and answer any questions they may have regarding the pizzas.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience as a pizza cook or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of pizza preparation techniques, dough handling, and baking methods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders simultaneously. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistently high-quality products. Team player with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. Lift and carry heavy trays of ingredients and pizzas. Work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
