Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring to support daily menu needs Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling salads, garnishes, and side dishes with precision and care Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, storage areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with safety standards Support cooking processes by following recipes accurately and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed Follow all food safety protocols including proper knife skills, sanitation practices, and temperature controls Collaborate with team members during meal prep for catering events or large orders to ensure timely service Qualifications Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings demonstrating strong kitchen skills Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Excellent knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us where your skills make a real impact!
