Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision and creativity, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Follow established recipes and presentation standards to deliver visually appealing meals Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to enhance flavor profiles and presentation Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout all food handling processes Utilize knife skills and culinary techniques to efficiently prepare ingredients and assemble dishes Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during busy service times Ensure proper food storage, rotation, and inventory management to minimize waste Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction Experience Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food service environment Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety protocols Experience with menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs, including dietary department or dietary aide experience preferred Demonstrated proficiency in food handling, knife skills, and food safety regulations Background in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings highly desirable Familiarity with catering operations and large-scale food production is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Join our team where your culinary talents will shine!
