Position Overview:
Indian River Preserve Golf Club is seeking a reliable, motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential to delivering high-quality, consistent food that enhances the guest experience at our vibrant golf course and restaurant. You'll be working in a fun, fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items in a timely and organized manner Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work station Assist with food prep, kitchen setup, and closing duties Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed Communicate effectively with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service Help uphold food quality, consistency, and portion control Assist with special events, outings, and weekend service as needed
Requirements:
1+ year of experience in a kitchen or culinary setting preferred (but willing to train the right candidate) Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment Dependable, punctual, and willing to work weekends and holidays Must adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
