Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen flow during busy hours. Handle food handling responsibilities responsibly, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients. Support menu planning efforts by providing feedback on dish execution and suggesting improvements or new ideas. Ensure all food is prepared with attention to detail, presentation, and flavor to provide an exceptional dining experience. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related role within the food industry or restaurant environment. Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques essential for meal preparation. Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus, demonstrating knowledge of special dietary needs. Experience with menu planning, catering, and fine dining settings enhances your ability to excel in this role. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is critical for maintaining health regulations. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to serve efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and general culinary procedures supports seamless kitchen operations.
