Assist in menu planning and development to create innovative dishes. Ensure all food is handled safely and meets health regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Perform food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in catering events when required, ensuring high-quality food presentation. Requirements Proven experience as a cook/prep in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Proficient in meal preparation techniques, including knife skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Familiarity with dietary needs and preferences is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
