Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals in a clean and efficient environment. Responsibilities Responsable of food prep tasks, including cutting, portioning and assembling ingredients. Prepare and cook sauces according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to food handling guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Make Inventory control and ordering of ingredients and supplies Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Skilled in precise and efficient knife work for proteins and vegetables. Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen as a line cook. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining kitchen hygiene. Flexibility to assist with various tasks. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
