Experience in Cuban cooking is preferred.

Responsibilities Include:

Plan daily menus, in coordination with other cooks. Prepare and cook menu items including breakfast and lunch/dinner offerings. Support special promotions or seasonal menus as needed. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely food availability. Properly clean and sanitize cooking tools, utensils, and equipment. Following proper food handling procedures and ensuring that all food items meet food safety and quality standards. Inspect hot food items to ensure that established standards on safety, quality, uniformity, and aesthetic appeal are met. Greet customers, answer questions, make recommendations, and provide exceptional customer service. Spanish fluency is not necessary, but would be an asset Good organizational skills Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability Ability to work in a hot and hectic environment Work involves walking, standing, lifting and carrying products weighing up to 50 pounds, eye-hand coordination, and interaction with customers and fellow employees.
