Duties Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist with menu planning to accommodate dietary restrictions, preferences, and nutritional guidelines Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation standards to prevent contamination Serve meals with professionalism and friendliness, creating a positive dining atmosphere for residents Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils Support catering events or special occasions with tailored meal options Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure meal portions, presentation, and dietary requirements are met efficiently Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a professional setting Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety protocols Experience working in restaurants or the food industry is advantageous Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail Commitment to providing high-quality food service that prioritizes resident well-being and satisfaction Join us to bring your culinary expertise into a rewarding environment where every meal contributes to our residents' happiness and health.
