Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cook, where your enthusiasm and culinary skills will directly contribute to creating a warm, nourishing environment for our residents. This vital role involves assisting with meal service, food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. If you have a passion for food industry work and enjoy providing working on the Beach this is for you! Duties Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring menus meet dietary needs and preferences Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established recipes and safety guidelines Handle food with care, following proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination Support kitchen operations by cleaning, organizing, and maintaining equipment and workspaces Serve residents or guests with professionalism, friendliness, and attention to dietary restrictions Help with catering events or special meal occasions as needed Follow all food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld Skills Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques Proficiency in food handling, cooking, and food service operations Excellent knife skills and culinary experience for efficient food prep Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve residents effectively Embark on a rewarding career where your culinary talents help enhance the well-being of those we serve.
