Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grill Cook to join our team. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a team-oriented setting, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and food safety guidelines
- Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
- Ensure that food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and presented in an appealing manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
