Line Cook Sundrop Restaurant$21 per hour | The Luce A Marriott Portfolio HotelSundrop, the signature restaurant at The Luce, a Marriott portfolio hotel, is seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team. Sundrop is an upscale coastal dining experience with gulf flavors, citrus infused cuisine and craft cocktails. The dining room seats 180 guests, with indoor and outdoor seating, and serves daily brunch and dinner. We are an upscale kitchen focused on quality, consistency and delivering exceptional guest experience in a vibrant hotel setting.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment while upholding Marriott brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and presentation standardsMaintain proper mise en place and station organization before and during serviceEnsure consistency, portion control, and high-quality execution of all dishesFollow all food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures in compliance with health regulationsCommunicate effectively with culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth serviceMaintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Qualifications:

1-3 years of line cook experience in an upscale, hotel or high-volume kitchenStrong knife skills and understanding of cooking fundamentalsAbility to work efficiently under pressureKnowledge of food safety and sanitation standardsTeam-oriented mindset with strong work ethicCulinary training preferred but not required
