Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Establishing foundation by excelling at Prep and maintaining a clean kitchen.
• Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
• Follow recipes, portion control guidelines, and food safety regulations to ensure high-quality meals.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring them accurately.
• Cook and season food according to recipes and portion sizes.
• Assist in setting up and stocking the kitchen with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely meal service.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Please note that this position may involve catering duties as well.
