The ideal candidate will have experience in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant environment, showcasing a passion for food service and meal preparation. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering exceptional dishes to our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients. Skills Proven experience in a fine dining or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen. Creativity in food preparation and menu planning is a plus. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
