Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a Dietary Aide. In this vital role, you will support the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Duties Assist with meal planning and preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and menus Prepare food items using proper cooking techniques, including knife skills and food handling procedures Serve meals to guests with professionalism and friendliness Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas Support catering events and special meal services as needed Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent contamination or spoilage Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and monitoring expiration dates Requirements Previous experience in a dietary department or food service setting is highly preferred Experience as a dietary aide, restaurant worker, or in the food industry is advantageous Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards Excellent serving skills with a friendly, customer-focused attitude Basic culinary skills including knife handling and portioning techniques Join us to make a meaningful difference through nourishing meals and compassionate service!
