Cashier/Grill Cook/Culinary Associate

Kebabas first opened in the Fall of 2017 with the goal of bringing Mediterranean cuisine and American grub to the good folks of Tallahassee. Our food truck is family owned and locally operated. As such, Kebabas strives to treat all customers like family, to serve unique flavors to those willing to try, and to provide delicious classic meals to everyone. The Kebabas brand is built on kindness, acceptance, and dedication to each customer. It is because of these principles that our humble food truck has grown in business over the years and why we are now seeking extra help to keep up with the demand. We are open Tuesday through Saturday and any hours assigned will be on these days. The Cashier/Grill Cook will be responsible for a number of different duties including but not limited to: Greeting all customers at the truck with sincerity. Taking orders and processing payments. (Square) Serving food to customers. (Handing orders to customers) Grabbing anything that a customer may need such as drinks, napkins, or condiments. Taking orders over the phone and through Uber Eats. Helping to prep food with the main cook on duty. Cooking and plating multiple meals at the same time. Cleaning tables after customers depart. Cleaning the food truck before, during, and after your shift ends. The Cashier/Grill Cook will also have certain personality and character traits including: Adaptability

• You will often be hopping through different tasks throughout your shift. Ability to stay calm under pressure
• We often encounter waves of customers during lunch and dinner hours. We need someone to stay cool while the grill is hot. Dependability
• While we don't demand too many hours to work each week, the hours we assign must be met. A strong sense of customer service
• Our food truck doesn't come with a whole lot of bells and whistles.

Our strength comes from our customer service and it is imperative it stays that way. This job would ideally be for a college student that is looking for part-time work throughout each semester. Although, experienced line cooks are also welcome. For the right employee, we will hold the position for them in the event that they need to travel back home in between semesters. Experience as a grill cook or experience in the Food/beverage/hospitality industry is a major plus. A list of references would also be a plus. We look forward to reviewing your application.
