Job Description
Job Description The Blind Goat Food and Drink Co. is looking for a line cook to add to our team. We are a bar driven concept, and as such we offer a menu that remains simple yet innovative, and can be executed quickly and efficiently. Previous experience cooking on a line and/or making pizza in a high volume environment is highly preferred. We are looking for team player, someone who is hard working, and has the grit to push through a busy rush. We will be setting up interviews shortly and will be looking to start someone immediately. Availability This position is part time and to be considered, candidates must be available to work Saturday & Sunday from 5PM-Close (approximately 1AM Saturday and 11PM Sunday) Responsibilities and Duties Working with the team to prep our fresh ingredients. The majority of what we served is made from scratch, so making sure that we are well prepped for service is essential. Working on the line, preparing our variety of menu items spanning from pizza, wings, salads, unique sandwiches, and various other starters. Plating and expediting food. Keeping a clean and organized kitchen at all times. Opening and closing the kitchen, depending on shift, in a timely manner. Qualifications and Skills Experience working on a line is preferable, however, work ethic and attitude are the most important qualifications for this position. Reliability is essential as our team is small and being unreliable puts an added burden on other team members and management.
