Schedule:
Dinner service (approx. 4:00 PM-11:00 PM). Closed Mondays. About Rio Izakaya Rio Izakaya is a brand new, high-end Japanese casual elegant restaurant in Tampa. Our menu is centered on yakitori grilled over Japanese binchotan, dry-aged fish for sushi / sashimi / nigiri, and a focused selection of hot and cold plates executed with precision. We are building a kitchen culture that is organized, disciplined, and kind—no ego, no bullying, no kitchen snobbery. We're looking for cooks who take pride in craft, teamwork, and consistency. Position Summary We are hiring prep cooks to help build and execute a detail-driven kitchen. You will prep ingredients and dishes and support service. This role is ideal for cooks who want to grow in a serious, quality-focused kitchen with strong leadership and clear standards. Our chefs are Michelin level and they will be working side-by-side with you. Key Responsibilities Maintain high standards in product quality, timing, and plating Follow prep lists, pars, and station setup standards Support daily prep, breakdown, and organization of the kitchen Maintain cleanliness and food safety in accordance with DOH standards Knowledge of dietary requirements Assist with inventory, labeling, and waste reduction practices Stay organized and maintain a clean, efficient workstation What We're Looking For Experience in high-quality or scratch kitchens preferred. If you are a newly grad, we will train you!

Compensation & Benefits Pay:
