The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the food industry or a restaurant setting. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with the dietary department to ensure that all meals adhere to dietary guidelines and menu planning requirements. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans. Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure meals meet nutritional standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in catering events, preparing food items for special occasions. Help train and mentor new kitchen staff as required. Skills Strong culinary skills with experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to help others. Familiarity with menu planning and dietary needs is a plus. Experience in catering is beneficial but not required.
