Why You'll Love This Role Use your culinary skills to make a daily impact on residents' well-being Work in a collaborative kitchen where teamwork and accountability matter Be part of a community that values consistency, safety, and professionalism Competitive pay and strong benefits What You'll Do Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, menus, and portion guidelines Ensure meals meet quality, presentation, and dietary standards Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies Support special diets and dietary restrictions as directed Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep areas Assist with inventory, storage, labeling, and rotation of food items Work closely with the dining services team to ensure timely meal service What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Previous cooking experience in healthcare, senior living, or high-volume food service preferred Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices Ability to follow recipes, menus, and instructions consistently Strong time management skills and attention to detail Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed Benefits Double time pay on major holidays Free employee meals Up to $1,000 employee referral bonus (no limit) Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, life insurance, disability, and EAP Claiborne Senior Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where all qualified individuals are considered without regard to legally protected characteristics.
