In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring food safety standards are consistently met. Your culinary expertise and passion for food will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting the overall success of our kitchen operations. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist with menu planning, ensuring variety and nutritional balance Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and service Use knife skills effectively for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food prep tasks Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen workflow and timely service Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Skilled in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving processes Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Passion for culinary arts with a focus on quality presentation and taste Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Ability to read and follow recipes to keep consistent products for our guests Join us if you're eager to bring your culinary talents to life while making a positive impact through delicious, well-prepared meals!
