  • 2:00 PM Mommy Angels Daycare is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Coordinator to manage daily meal preparation, inventory, and kitchen compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to Bright From The Start guidelines.
  • Understand serving sizes and nutritional requirements for children ages 1-5.
  • Monitor expiration dates and rotate food inventory.
  • Identify food items that need to be used before spoilage and adjust menu recommendations accordingly.
  • Maintain inventory and communicate food and supply needs.
  • Assist with weekly food orders and verify deliveries.
  • Keep track of special milks and dietary restrictions.
  • Ensure refrigerators, thermometers, and food storage areas are maintained properly.
  • Follow all Bright From The Start kitchen and sanitation requirements.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen daily, including floors, refrigerators, trash cans, counters, and storage areas.
  • Break down boxes and maintain an organized kitchen.
  • Assist with classroom lunch coverage or laundry duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Childcare kitchen or food service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Bright From The Start meal requirements preferred.
Must be able to take initiative, communicate effectively, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
