Line Cook

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in fine dining or restaurant environments. This role involves preparing and cooking menu items with attention to food safety standards, supporting meal service, and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests. The Line Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to deliver delicious, well-presented dishes in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation for daily service Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices Support catering events and special meal preparations as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies when necessary Uphold high standards of food presentation and taste Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or culinary settings Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures Experience in menu planning, catering, or fine dining environments is a plus Excellent understanding of the food industry standards and customer service principles Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required
