Line Cook

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for guests. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or in other kitchen roles within the food industry. Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation. Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required. Familiarity with menu planning and fine dining service standards is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
