We're looking for a talented and experienced Chef who is passionate about providing customers with the best dining experience possible. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of food safety procedures and enjoys caring for the restaurant and team members. Candidates must have restaurant experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. Able to do a full inventory twice a week Rotate all food products accordingly Make sure kitchen stays clean, product is labeled and ready for health inspector Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift. Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs. Communicate with other employees about issues with the quality of food or service. Learn about wine and beverage selections offered by the restaurant. Follow suggestions for improving work performance from immediate supervisors and managers. Document available inventory of ingredients and supplies.
