Overview We are seeking a experienced Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. Previous pizza making experience at a high volume is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation and cooking. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Pizza Cook will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Manage the dough preparation process, including mixing, kneading, and rolling. Prepare fresh ingredients, ensuring quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in menu specials by suggesting new pizza recipes or variations. Handle food safely and responsibly, following all health guidelines. Participate in all functions of the business as needed, providing excellent service to guests. Requirements Proven experience in pizza making and preparation from scratch at a high volume. Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices. Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus. Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation techniques. Proficiency in various cooking methods. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen staff and management. A passion for cooking and delivering high-quality food service is essential.
