Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen workflow Monitor food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and prevent cross-contamination Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and seasonal specials Handle food service duties including plating, garnishing, and presenting dishes attractively for guests Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, especially in fine dining or catering environments Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment Experience with meal preparation, cooking methods, and food service operations Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills are valued, your creativity is encouraged, and every day presents an opportunity to delight our guests!
