In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, assisting in meal assembly, and ensuring every dish meets our high standards. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure smooth kitchen operations Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Support menu planning by preparing components for daily specials and regular offerings Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations as needed Serve food efficiently while providing friendly, attentive service to guests or staff Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is preferred Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques is essential Familiarity with culinary tools such as knives and other kitchen equipment is a plus Experience with meal planning, food industry standards, or catering services will set you apart Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking methods are important for success Prior kitchen or restaurant experience demonstrating teamwork and multitasking abilities Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
