Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely and accurate service. Support menu planning by contributing ideas that meet dietary needs and preferences. Prepare ingredients and cook dishes following established recipes and safety guidelines. Serve meals with professionalism, ensuring presentation aligns with quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to coordinate catering events or special meal services. Follow all food industry regulations, including proper knife skills, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable. Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, demonstrating strong kitchen skills. Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety standards. Experience with food industry practices such as catering, serving, and food handling. Familiarity with culinary techniques including knife skills and food presentation. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential.
