  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Biscuit Maker to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each biscuit and sandwich is crafted to perfection. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and baking biscuits before service, glazing, frying, and managing donut production, cooking breakfast sandwiches on the line during service, as well as doing prep and cleaning after service. A successful candidate for this role will adhere to food safety standards and Dulce Dough recipes and maintain a clean kitchen environment. You must also be a passionate cook and baker with a willingness to learn. Our goal is to enhance customer satisfaction so that we can maintain and expand our clientele. _____________________________________ This position is full-time hourly with a share of tips. Holiday and weekend availability is non-negotiable. Duties Prepare ingredients for biscuit dough, including measuring and mixing flour, sugar, and other components. Follow recipes accurately to create a variety of biscuits, ensuring consistency in taste and texture. Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and baking sheets effectively. Monitor the baking process to ensure biscuits are cooked to the appropriate level without burning. cook eggs to temperature consistently to Dulce Dough standards Package finished products in an appealing manner for distribution or sale. Must multi-task and be flexible to support team in and out of survice Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by following food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards. Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking. Able to lift 50 pounds. Able to Stand and Work for Long Hours. Daily cleaning of kitchen and surrounding areas after service. Skills Experience working in a restaurant kitchen. Great attention to detail and creativity with an emphasis on quality control during food production. Strong and effective communication skills. Willingness to replenish professional knowledge. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to follow instructions and listen. Must be able to work as a team and support different areas. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and meet high volume demands. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within tight deadlines.
