Cashier/Ice Cream Maker and cook

Opening in a couple of weeks! Pay starting at $8 per hour and goes up to $10 per hour depending on experience and availability.

Duties:

• Prepare and create a variety of ice cream flavors and desserts according to established recipes and guidelines
• Operate ice cream machines and equipment
• Maintain inventory of ingredients, toppings, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels
• Clean and sanitize work area, equipment, and utensils to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
• Assist with customer service duties such as taking orders, serving customers, and providing product recommendations
• Upsell additional products or toppings to enhance the customer experience
• Follow food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of the products
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with coworkers
