Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations Handle food safely by following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including knife skills and equipment upkeep Support catering events and special meal preparations with efficiency and attention to detail Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and excellent food presentation Contribute to a positive kitchen environment by adhering to food industry best practices and serving standards Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting, especially in a culinary or kitchen role Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols Strong knife skills and experience in meal preparation and food handling Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Experience with menu planning, catering, or serving is advantageous but not required Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a difference every day!
