At least 2 years of experience working in a kitchen (restaurant or food manufacturing).

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Contract Schedule:
Monday - Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Cook to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
Wash, slice, and cook various produce, including taro, breadfruit, and potatoes. Operate and monitor machines used to wash, slice, fry, and salt produce. Open and control valves to pump preheated cooking oil into vats. Adjust burner controls to maintain proper cooking temperatures. Manage salt hoppers and apply seasoning as needed. Monitor the flow of produce into vats and adjust levers for consistency. Stir or use rakes to ensure even frying and cooking. Observe product quality, including color and texture, during cooking. Maintain a clean and safe food preparation and cooking environment.
Position Requirements:
Experience operating a kitchen or food manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of safe food handling practices. Ability to monitor and control cooking processes and equipment. Dependable and punctual.
